Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, regular floating may be required between departments, units and facility as needed. Will float all MSI units based on greatest need, including Emergency department for Inpatients holding.
 

Skills REQ: Work Settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Cardiovascular: Post Cardiac, Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery. Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols. Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management: Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. MEDICATIONS: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips. Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA. Orthopedics: Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements. Plastics: Surgical drains.
