Looking for your next travel assignment? A respected rural acute care hospital in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This is an excellent opportunity for Tele nurses who are confident managing cardiac drips and stepping into charge nurse responsibilities when needed.

Assignment Details

• Location: Pennsylvania
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour Night Shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required
• Weekly Pay: Up to $2,326/week for qualified travelers
• Openings: 1

Unit Information

• Med Surg/Telemetry Unit
• Licensed 25-bed acute care hospital
• Small rural facility with a supportive team environment
• Strong potential for contract extension

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Administer and manage cardiac drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Serve as charge nurse when needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with nursing standards

Requirements

• Active PA RN License or Compact RN License
• Previous Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Must be comfortable functioning as a Charge Nurse
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
