Description
Registered Nurse - PCU
Location: Kansas City, MO
Start: 09/28/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s (06:45 PM–07:15 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience
- Experience with 1:5 patient ratios
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
- Experience in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, and PCU/Stepdown
- Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
- Experience with cardiac drips and IV insulin protocols
- Experience with post-MI, cardiac cath, cardiac surgery, and angiogram patients
- Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and wound care
- Epic experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
Additional:
- Float required between Med/Surg, Telemetry, Medical-Intermediate, and ED holding as needed
- 8 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
- Holiday and possible Charge RN assignments as needed
- No block scheduling
- Maximum 7 days of RTO
- Local candidates not accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
- Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
