We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join a highly respected surgical team in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. As a Surgical Technologist, you'll play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile fields, ensuring equipment readiness, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. What You'll Do

Prepare operating rooms with the instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for surgical procedures
Maintain a sterile field throughout all surgical cases and adhere to infection control standards
Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment
Inspect, assemble, and ensure proper functioning of surgical instruments and devices
Sterilize and organize surgical equipment according to facility protocols
Support the surgical team by anticipating procedural needs and responding efficiently during cases
Assist with tissue handling and specimen management as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all facility policies and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

Requirements What We're Looking For ✅ Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (Civilian or Military) ✅ Current NBSTSA Surgical Technologist Certification required ✅ Current BLS Certification ✅ Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred ✅ Orthopedic surgery experience strongly preferred ✅ Strong understanding of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and infection prevention protocols ✅ Experience preparing, organizing, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical equipment and supplies ✅ Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical teams during procedures ✅ Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced operating room environment ✅ Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English ✅ Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems preferred
