We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join a leading healthcare team on beautiful Cape Cod. In this role, you'll provide expert respiratory care to patients across various age groups and clinical settings, playing a critical role in the assessment, treatment, and management of cardiopulmonary conditions. What You'll Do

Assess, treat, and monitor patients experiencing respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments as ordered by physicians
Manage and monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment
Perform diagnostic testing and evaluate patient responses to therapy
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions, treatments, and disease management
Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical care support when needed
Accurately document treatments, assessments, and patient progress in EPIC
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements What We're Looking For ✅ Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy License ✅ Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) ✅ Current BLS Certification ✅ Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred ✅ Critical care experience strongly preferred ✅ Ability to assess, treat, and monitor patients with a variety of respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions ✅ Experience with ventilator management, oxygen therapy, respiratory treatments, and emergency response ✅ Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment ✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills with physicians, nurses, patients, and families ✅ Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems preferred ✅ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred (may be completed onsite) ✅ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
