NICU/Neonatal RN (Intermediate Care Nursery) — Palo Alto, CA
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days, 3x12s
- Contract: 13 weeks, 36 guaranteed hours/week
Role Overview
- Clinical Nurse II practices as a full partner on the healthcare team, independently providing patient care through the nursing process
- Patients may range in age from infancy to adult
- Demonstrates competency across Patient and Family Centered Care, Evidence-Based Practice and Research, Safety, Continuous Quality Improvement, Teamwork, Technology/Informatics, Professionalism, and Leadership
- Works closely with the inter-professional healthcare team to coordinate care across the continuum
- Complies with all regulatory and accrediting body standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Level IV NICU, including well newborn care
- BSN required
- Current California RN License
- AHA BLS certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
