Description

  • Job Title: CT Tech - Tech (Travel Contract)
  • Specialty: Computed Tomography & X-Ray (CT & XR)
  • Location: Columbus, Ohio (OhioHealth Grant Medical Center)
  • Shift: Nights (3x12 hours, 18:00 - 06:30; every fourth weekend / every other weekend required depending on unit rotation)

Position Summary Level I Trauma Center seeking an ARRT-certified CT and X-Ray Technologist for a night shift contract. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures, managing a busy department volume of 270–290 scans per day, and charting via Epic EMR. Charcoal grey scrubs required; parking is free in unrestricted spaces without a pass.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience preferred (less considered with Level I/II trauma experience)
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program with active ARRT registration and BLS certification
  • Active Ohio state license required (pending licenses accepted)
  • Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Canon equipment required
  • Compliance & Submission Rules: Strict >100-mile permanent address radius rule; maximum 10 days RTO per contract (none in initial weeks); lab work within 48 hours and EKG/dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing; strict attendance policy (more than one call-off results in termination)

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
