Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with specialty experience in Labor & Delivery for a 7-week travel assignment in Sylmar, CA. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients across triage, labor and delivery, and recovery, including support for surgical procedures (C-sections, D&E/D&NC, tubal ligations) and potential floating to the Mother-Baby Unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
• Triage, monitor, and assist patients through active labor and delivery.
• Provide surgical recovery care in post-anesthesia/recovery settings for obstetrical procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to maintain high standards of patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification.
• MAB or CPI certification.
• LA City Fire and Life Safety card (LA City specific).
• LA County Employee Health Clearance completed prior to start
