  • Job Title: ER - RN (Travel Contract)

  • Location: San Francisco, California (Sutter Health CPMC Davies Campus North Tower)
  • Shift: Rotating (3x12 variable shifts ranging from 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a; every other weekend required, no call)

Position Summary Emergency Department Registered Nurse needed for Sutter Health CPMC Davies Campus North Tower. Responsibilities include providing competent, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care within a dynamic ED environment, with potential floating required to other CPMC campuses as census permits.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of ED RN experience required
  • Active California RN licensure and uploaded Nursys within the last 2 weeks required
  • Required Certifications (AHA or ARC): BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
  • Compliance & Submission Rules: Strict 50-mile radius local rule; maximum 7 days RTO per contract (restricted to only 1 major holiday); 7-year work history verification required; disclosure and supporting documentation needed for any background or licensure hits

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
