<h3>RN Stepdown / MS-Tele Ortho – Job Highlights</h3><ul><li>Unit: 28-bed MS/Tele Ortho Stepdown (7K)</li><li>Schedule: 12-hour PM shifts, EOW, EOH</li><li>Experience: 2 years required</li><li>Certifications: BLS &amp; ACLS required</li><li>Monitoring: Dysrhythmia exam required</li><li>Patient Population: Primarily orthopedic patients including backs, necks, hips, knees, post-op and trauma patients, with some medical and bariatric surgery patients</li><li>Drips: Heparin; occasional PCA</li><li>Lines/Drains: JP, Hemovac, True-Close, and lumbar drains</li><li>Respiratory: NC, occasional NRB/Venturi, and non-continuous BiPAP; no vents or trachs</li><li>Skills: Telemetry, hemodynamic monitoring, post-op care, surgical drains, safe patient mobility, medication administration, and rapid clinical assessment</li><li>Equipment: Alaris pumps and Hercules beds</li><li>Team: May work alongside LPNs; charge RN takes a patient assignment</li><li>Preferred: Strong communication skills and orthopedic/post-op experience</li></ul>
