Description

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Shift: Days, 3×12 hours
Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Unit: Labor & Delivery
Unit Size: 18 beds
Daily Census: Approximately 16 patients
Patient Ratio: 1:2

Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
Every other weekend required
Holidays scheduled as needed
Approximately 12–14 weekend shifts per contract
One pre-approved RTO may be allowed
24 hours of orientation

Experience Required

Minimum 1 year of L&D experience
First-time travelers accepted
Experience with high-acuity laboring patients
Epic EMR experience required

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
NRP

Preferred:

AWHONN Intermediate
AWHONN Advanced may be beneficial based on the skills/certification profile

Floating Requirement

Candidate must be willing to float to:

MAU – Maternity Assessment Unit
MBU – Mother-Baby Unit
OBSC – Obstetric Specialty Care
Potentially other Cone Health campuses as needed
