Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Riverdale Elementary
Location: Riverdale Elementary
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Contract Length: 38 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Setting: School-based / Classroom
Position Overview
Riverdale Elementary is seeking a full-time SLP to support an intensive preschool classroom serving children ages 3–5. The SLP will work 100% inside the classroom and collaborate directly with an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher.
Caseload
- Approximately 10 students
- 5 students in the AM class
- 5 students in the PM class
- Preschool students ages 3–5
- Smaller caseload with intensive classroom support
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language services within the preschool classroom
- Support students with communication and speech-language needs
- Collaborate closely with the Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
- Participate as part of the classroom-based educational team
- Provide services appropriate to students ages 3–5
- Maintain appropriate documentation and follow school requirements

- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- 37.5 hours per week
