Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Riverdale Elementary

Location: Riverdale Elementary
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Contract Length: 38 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Setting: School-based / Classroom

Position Overview

Riverdale Elementary is seeking a full-time SLP to support an intensive preschool classroom serving children ages 3–5. The SLP will work 100% inside the classroom and collaborate directly with an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher.

Caseload

Approximately 10 students
5 students in the AM class
5 students in the PM class
Preschool students ages 3–5
Smaller caseload with intensive classroom support

Key Responsibilities

Provide speech-language services within the preschool classroom
Support students with communication and speech-language needs
Collaborate closely with the Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
Participate as part of the classroom-based educational team
Provide services appropriate to students ages 3–5
Maintain appropriate documentation and follow school requirements

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–4:00 PM
37.5 hours per week
