Description
PICU RN — Richmond, VA
Assignment Details
- Shift: Rotating — Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and Days, 3x12s (7:00 AM–7:00 PM); rotates every few weeks between schedules (no rotating within the same week)
- Weekend coverage required: 12–13 shifts per contract, every other weekend
- Must work a minimum of 2 holidays
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Charting: Epic required, no exceptions
- Locals allowed at the same rate
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
Unit Overview
- 20 beds, 21 rooms; daily census of 16
- Patient population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
- Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred (not required)
Key Clinical Skills
- CVVH, chemo administration, ECMO (asterisked — likely preferred/less common), ICP monitoring, telemetry, ventilator management
Requirements
- 3 years of experience required
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Epic charting experience required
