Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – MedSurg/Telemetry for a fast-paced inpatient admission/overflow unit. The unit cares for general medical and surgical patients, including patients awaiting surgery, with a rapid patient turnover.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to MedSurg/Telemetry patients.
• Assess patients and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment.
• Manage a 5–6:1 patient ratio in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently while maintaining patient safety and quality of care.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of MedSurg/Telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
