Provide specialized instruction and special education services in accordance with district policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines.
Develop, implement, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet students’ individual learning needs.
Manage assigned special education caseloads and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Prepare progress reports, IEP documentation, meeting notices, prior written notices, and other required educational records.
Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and monitor student progress and behavioral outcomes.
Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate IEP meetings with parents, teachers, administrators, and other multidisciplinary team members.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to ensure appropriate services and support.
Provide guidance, direction, and supervision to paraeducators, new teachers, and other assigned district personnel as applicable.
Participate in problem-solving teams and contribute to educational and behavioral planning for students with diverse learning needs.
Use specialized curriculum, individualized teaching strategies, multimedia, and assistive technology to support student learning.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of services and complete all required billing and compliance documentation according to district procedures.
Apply current research and evidence-based practices to instructional programming and decision-making.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the school district or Quantum.
