Description
Required Experience & Skills
- Current Cath Lab and Electrophysiology experience required
- Previous experience as an EP Technologist/EP Tech required
- Experience with electrophysiology procedures and intraprocedural mapping
- Knowledge and experience with cardiac ablation procedures
- Experience assisting with cardiac implantable devices
- Knowledge of EP recording and mapping systems
- Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmia recognition
- Proficiency in required sterile scrub technique
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and pressure measurement
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
Education
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program; OR
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; OR
- Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS)
Required Certifications & Licensure
- AHA BLS – Required
- ACLS – AHA required within 3 months of employment
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), RCES, or Radiologic Technologist (RT) license, as applicable
- Candidates must meet applicable facility requirements for professional certification/licensure.
