Cath Lab Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Location: Columbus, OH
Facility: Mount Carmel East
Contract Dates: August 30, 2026 – November 28, 2026
Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts
Hours: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This position will support a busy cardiac catheterization lab and requires flexibility with rotating days off, call coverage, and weekends.

Schedule and Call Requirements

Four 10-hour shifts per week
Day shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Rotating days off
Approximately 14 days of call during each six-week period
Every third weekend
Must be able to respond within the facility’s required call-back timeframe

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Prepare the procedure room, equipment, supplies, and sterile field
Scrub, circulate, and monitor during cardiac catheterization procedures
Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment
Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms
Maintain accurate procedural documentation
Follow radiation-safety and infection-prevention standards
Respond appropriately during urgent and emergent cardiac situations
Participate in the required call and weekend rotation

Qualifications

Previous Cath Lab Technologist experience required
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Ability to scrub, circulate, and monitor cases
Current BLS certification required
Additional Cath Lab or cardiovascular credentials preferred
Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
Must complete all required competency testing, skills checklists, and credential verification
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced procedural environment
