Description

Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics–RRT

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics in a 24/7 hospital department.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide respiratory care across all hospital floors, including ICU, NICU, Open Heart, and Trauma ED.
Manage mechanical ventilators, including Servo I, GE, Hamilton, and PB840 systems.
Provide BiPAP/ventilator management and medicated aerosol treatments.
Assist with intubation and provide post-intubation respiratory management.
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis.
Provide respiratory support for Open Heart and critical care patients.
Manage inhaled Nitric Oxide (iNO/Nitric) therapy as required.
Provide respiratory care for COVID-19 patients and other acute respiratory conditions.
Perform CPT (chest physiotherapy) and other respiratory treatments.
Monitor patients and adjust respiratory therapy interventions based on clinical condition and provider orders.
Document patient care and respiratory treatments accurately in Epic.
Float throughout the facility within the RRT's scope of practice as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 1+ year of RRT experience
First-time travelers not accepted
Current GA State RRT License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, RRT
Epic experience required
Experience with Servo I, GE, Hamilton, and PB840 required.

Locals are accepted.
