SNF OT Opportunity – Old Bridge, NJ

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility travel contract in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with an adult and geriatric rehab population, helping patients regain the functional skills needed to safely return to their highest possible level of independence.

Position Highlights

• Skilled Nursing / Rehab setting
• Adult and geriatric population
• Short-term rehabilitation and longer-term skilled needs
• OT evaluations and individualized plans of care
• ADL and self-care retraining
• Upper-extremity strengthening, ROM and coordination
• Functional mobility and transfer training
• Adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies
• Cognitive and safety interventions as appropriate
• Patient and caregiver education
• Discharge planning
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with PT, SLP, nursing and facility staff

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active New Jersey OT license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS certification
• SNF/geriatric experience preferred
• Strong evaluation, documentation and communication skills
