Description
Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - Hospital Acute Care
Start Date: 9/21
Duration: 13 Weeks
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
EMR: Epic
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week travel assignment starting 9/21. The OT will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for acute care patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to promote optimal functional outcomes.
Requirements:
- Active IL State OT License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience
- Previous Inpatient Acute Care experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide and document OT treatments in Epic
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and adaptive equipment
- Supervise COTAs and students as applicable
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements
