Position Details
- 24–26 bed unit
- Night ratio: 1:5–6
- Day ratio: 1:4–6
- Traveler will float across all campuses, including:
- Iowa Methodist Medical Center
- Iowa Lutheran
- Iowa Methodist
- Patient population includes:
- General medical-surgical
- Gynecology
- Breast
- Abdominal
- Flaps
- ENT
Required heparin experience
Traveler Requirements
- 24 months of recent/current Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting — required
- Experience caring for patients in:
- General
- GYN
- Breast
- Abdominal
- Flaps
- ENT
- No first-time travelers — must have successfully completed a travel contract within the past 24 months
- Heparin experience — required
- Epic experience — required
- Recent/current Level II Trauma experience — required
- Recent/current Level I Trauma experience — preferred
- Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license at time of submission — required
- AHA/ARC BLS certification — required
- Valid driver's license — required
