Description

Surgical Technologist – Total Joint & Plastics

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team and support a busy surgical service line with a strong focus on Total Joint and Plastic Surgery cases. This is a great opportunity for a skilled surgical tech looking for a consistent case load, supportive facility, and the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Position Details

  • Specialties: Total Joint & Plastics
  • Case Load: Approximately 12–22 cases
  • Scrub Color: Black
  • Scrubs: Provided by the facility
  • Work Week: Sunday–Saturday
  • Housing: The facility is happy to assist with housing arrangements when given advance notice. Staff members also have rental referrals available to help make finding accommodations easier.
  • Temp-to-Perm Opportunity: The facility would love to consider a temp-to-perm placement for candidates who are interested in staying on permanently.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This position offers the chance to work alongside an experienced surgical team in a facility with a steady orthopedic and plastics case load. The facility is supportive of travelers and is willing to help make the transition as smooth as possible, including assistance with housing resources.

For candidates who enjoy the environment and are looking for a longer-term opportunity, there is also strong potential to transition from a temporary assignment into a permanent staff position.

If you're an experienced Surgical Technologist with Total Joint and/or Plastics experience, this could be a great opportunity to take your skills to the next level while having the option to make the facility your permanent home.

About

A Better Route for Travel Healthcare

Founded in Buffalo, NY in 2008, Trusted Talent has spent nearly two decades building a different kind of healthcare staffing company — one where travel nurses, allied professionals, and locum providers are treated like family, not file numbers. The Joint Commission has awarded Trusted Talent its Gold Seal of Approval for Health Care Staffing Services, the industry's most rigorous credential. We are also the Official Healthcare Staffing Partner of the Buffalo Sabres, named to the 2025 SIA Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms list, the 2024 SIA Largest US Staffing Firms list, and recognized as a 2023 Inc. Best Workplace.

From day one, our mission has been simple: get every traveler the right assignment, the right pay, and the right support — fast. That's how we earned a 100% application response rate and a within-the-hour response time on Vivian. It's also why so many of our travelers come back assignment after assignment.

Why Travelers Choose Trusted Talent

  • Weekly pay and full transparency on every package — what we quote is what you take home
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage plus an HRA card to help cover medical bills
  • 401(k) with a 4% company match (after 1,000 hours and one year of employment)
  • License, certification, and CEU reimbursement
  • $1,500 referral bonus when you bring a friend onto a Trusted Talent assignment
  • Loyalty program with rewards for travelers who keep coming back
  • VIP events, Camp NurseCon, and the Trusted Gives community-giving program — because the relationship goes beyond the contract

What Makes Us Different
