Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Position: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:50 AM–3:30 PM
Call: Weekday, weekend & holiday call required

Service Lines

The CST will support a broad range of surgical procedures, including:

• Endoscopy
• General Surgery
• Total Joint Replacement
• Arthroscopy
• Orthopedic Trauma
• GYN
• OB / C-Sections
• Spine: 1–2 days per month

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Maintain strict sterile technique and follow surgical safety protocols.
• Assist with room turnover and preparation for upcoming procedures.
• Support procedures across multiple service lines, including orthopedic, general, GYN, OB, and endoscopy cases.
• Sterile Processing experience is preferred.

Call Requirements

• Weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage required.
• Weekend Call: Friday at 3:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM.
• Must be available for Thanksgiving and Christmas on-call coverage.

Ideal Candidate: An experienced CST who is comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties and can confidently support orthopedic, general, OB/GYN, and endoscopy procedures while maintaining excellent sterile technique.
