Travel Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT / MLS)
Location: Canton, GA
Contract Length: 16 Weeks (09/21/2026 – 01/09/2027)
Shift: 4x10-Hour Nights (Mon – Thu, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Position Overview
Acute care hospital in the Canton area is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 16-week night shift contract. Fixed Monday through Thursday schedule focusing on core specimen testing and clinical analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of recent clinical laboratory experience within specialty
- MT or MLS credentials only (Note: MLTs will not be considered by the facility)
- Active certification required: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
- Travel rule: Permanent residence must be 50+ miles from the facility
Holiday Expectations
- 2 Major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day
- 1 Minor Holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
