Corrections LVN – Days
📍 Location: Marlin, TX
📅 Start Date: 10/3
⏳ Contract: 13 weeks
🕐 Shift: Days
⏰ Hours: 36 guaranteed hours/week | 36–48 hours available
💰 Weekly Gross: Up to $2,088/week
💵 Travel Reimbursement: Up to $200
📚 Module Bonus: $200 Sign-On Bonus
Position Details
- 36 hours guaranteed each week
- Opportunity to work up to 48 hours/week
- Rotations are not guaranteed, so candidates must have schedule flexibility
- Maximum of 60 hours/week or 20 hours of OT
- Requests for 5 or more consecutive shifts will not be approved
- 4-week block scheduling; availability due by the 20th
- Work week runs Saturday–Friday for overtime calculation
- Candidates will be required to float/divert as needed
- May float to different units within approximately 10–30 minutes of each other
- Candidates may be floated or diverted within 50 miles of their assigned unit
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of nursing experience
- At least 1 year of Acute Care or Med Surg experience
- LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, and/or Psych experience is a plus
- Candidates with LTAC or acute-care floor nursing experience also accepted
Requirements
- Active Compact or Texas LVN License
- BLS
- IV Therapy Certification
- IV Therapy Certification must include a signed-off skills checklist
Ideal Candidate
The client is looking for an LVN who is:
- Thick-skinned
- Independent and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Professional and able to stay out of internal issues and gossip
- Flexible with floating and schedule changes
Orientation & Credentialing
- Orientation Date: October 3rd & 4th
- Completed profiles and CLPs due September 15th
💰 Compensation
36 Hours/Week
- $17/hr taxable
- $1,000/week housing stipend
- $1,612 gross/week
48 Hours/Week
- $17/hr × 40 hours
- $51/hr × 8 OT hours
- $1,000/week housing stipend
- $2,088 gross/week
Additional Reimbursements:
- Up to $200 travel reimbursement
- Up to $150 license/certification reimbursement when combined with Module Bonus and Travel Reimbursement
- $200 Module Bonus/Sign-On Bonus upon completion of required modules and starting the assignment
