Description

Registered Nurse – Pediatric Critical Care
Schedule
Days and nights available: 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a. Shift will be decided in the interview. Only requested time off discussed in the interview will be pre-approved.
Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Contract Weeks: 26
 

Requirements

2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in pediatric critical care.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse or compact state license.
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
Current Advanced NRP certification.
Experience in a Level III or IV NICU hospital preferred.
Children’s hospital experience preferred.
Education: Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, four-year degree (BSN) in nursing, or Diploma Nursing degree.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to patients in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family.
Document nursing and medical plans of care consistent with evidence-based standards.
Promote patient health through comprehensive care appropriate to age and condition.
Adapt care delivery based on patient needs and hospital goals.
