This 13-week travel assignment offers a desirable day-shift schedule with 3 × 12-hour shifts, giving experienced RNs the opportunity to build their travel experience while working in a specialized maternal-child care environment.

💕 What You'll Do

As a Mom/Baby RN, you'll play an important role in supporting patients and families throughout the postpartum journey. You'll provide compassionate, individualized care while helping new parents feel informed, supported, and confident.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to Mom/Baby patients.
  • Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor changes in health status.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
  • Provide patient and family education, health teaching, and counseling.
  • Administer treatments and therapies within the RN scope of practice.
  • Monitor and review treatment plans and patient progress.
  • Recognize changes in condition and coordinate additional evaluation or treatment when needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Provide supportive and restorative care focused on patient well-being.
  • Effectively utilize available clinical resources.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care and professionalism.
  • Float to other departments within your competency when required by facility needs.


✅ Requirements

  • ASN/ADN from an accredited nursing program required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS – American Heart Association required.
  • NRP certification required.
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS/PALS may be required based on unit needs.
  • Previous RN experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
