We are seeking a Nursing Director – Residential Living to provide strong clinical and operational leadership for a residential care community supporting long-term, skilled nursing, and short-term transitional care patients.

What You’ll Do:

As the Nursing Director, you will:

  • Provide clinical leadership and operational direction for Residential Living services.
  • Ensure safe, compassionate, efficient, and high-quality nursing care.
  • Lead staffing, recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employee development initiatives.
  • Oversee clinical standards, protocols, competencies, and quality improvement activities.
  • Partner closely with physicians, clinical leaders, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Assist with annual operating, personnel, and capital budget planning.
  • Monitor resources, staffing needs, performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct and support performance evaluations and professional development.
  • Promote a culture of engagement, accountability, professionalism, and patient-centered care.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvement strategies when needed.
  • Serve as a visible clinical role model and mentor for nursing staff.
  • Participate in floor coverage and after-hours/on-call support as needed.
  • Support community outreach and strong relationships with patients, families, physicians, and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

Required

  • BSN required
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • BLS Healthcare Provider certification
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing management/leadership experience
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage staffing, resources, and clinical operations
  • Strong understanding of patient safety and quality care
  • Ability to mentor, develop, and lead nursing teams

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Executive Director, Nursing Home Administrator, Community Manager, or similar senior leadership role
  • Experience overseeing residential, long-term care, skilled nursing, or transitional care operations
