Unit Specifics:

·         Number of Beds : 14

·         Type of equipment : Bladder scanner, Vein Finder, EKG machine

·         Documentation system: Meditech

·         Scheduling requirements: (5) 8 hour shifts – 06:00-14:30.

·         Floating policy: Float within Surgical Services PRN: Otherwise, per facility policy.

·         Patient Experience requirements: AIDET

Hospital Specifics-

·         Certifications: Level 3 Trauma Center

Requested Skill Set:  Pediatric and Neuro Post-Operative competency set to be completed at facility/ On base training

Must have: Pre-operative and post-operative experience. 

Procedures performed on unit:  

IV start, administering basic IV infusions, foley insertion, EKG

Certifications Required:

PALS,  ACLS,  BLS
