Position Summary:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for an ICU position, providing professional patient assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary coordination for critical care patients. This role includes developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans of care, along with patient/family education and support for other health care team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop interdisciplinary plans of care
• Implement and evaluate effectiveness of care plans for patients with various diagnoses
• Provide education to patients, families, caregivers, and other health professionals
• Assist in supervision of other staff members, students, and volunteers as appropriate
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment, including unit-based safety and infection control standards
• Complete and maintain all regulatory licensing/certification requirements within established timeframes

Requirements:

• 1+ year of Registered Nurse experience
• ICU experience required
• BSN required, OR ADN with 5+ years of RN experience in a high-acuity operating room
• California RN License
• BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider)
• ACLS required within 90 days of start or by end of orientation, whichever comes first
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 90 days of hire

Shift: 3x12 Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks
