  • Position: Emergency Room (ER) RN
  • Shift: 3 ร— 12-hour shifts
  • Hours: 3 PM โ€“ 3 AM
  • Contract: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed hours: Not clearly listed
  • First-time traveler: Accepted
  • 2 years ER experience: Hard requirement
  • No on-call
  • Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
  • Patient ratio: 1 RN : 3 patients
  • Floating: No between units, although sister-facility floating may be required

  • RTO must be submitted when applying
  • Client allows up to 7 days RTO; more may delay approval
  • Must work 3 of these 5 holidays:
    • Thanksgiving
    • Christmas Eve
    • Christmas Day
    • New Year's Eve
    • New Year's Day

  • Compact license must be in hand at submission
  • At least 1 year required per the general submission rule, but 2 years ER experience is the hardstop
  • 2 references covering at least 1 year of work within the last 3 years
  • Must disclose any previous work at a Providence facility
  • Can only be submitted to 1 Providence facility at a time
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a lower bill rate

  • Travelers may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities.
  • Refusing required floating could result in termination or loss of guaranteed hours.
  • Do not contact the facility directly unless an interview has been arranged.
  • Modules are completed before/during orientation and are not separately paid.
  • Return to the facility is allowed after 3 months.

This is a 3 PMโ€“3 AM ER travel RN position for someone with at least 2 years of ER experience and BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. The biggest requirements are 2 years ER experience, Epic, Level II trauma experience/skills, 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks, and working 3 of 5 major holidays
