Description

Position: CSFA

Position Type: Full-Time Contract

Duration: 13 weeks (high possibility of extension)

Shift: Days, Mon to Fri| 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, with call/lates and weekend requirements.

Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week | 8 per day

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH 44130

Position Summary:

The Surgeon's Assistant works under the direct supervision of the surgeon.
The SAs must be knowledgeable in surgical anatomy and physiology, operative technique relative to surgical procedure and principals of asepsis and infection control.
Maintains clinical competence in the pre-op assessment and intraoperative proficient as a First Assistant.
He/She is responsible for patient prep and operation during the surgical procedure.

• 3 years of CSFA Experience – Required • 1 year of Travel Experience – Required • Education: Graduate of an accredited program in PA/SA or International Medical Graduate. – Required • Ortho, neuro/ortho spine, general/robotics, urology/gyn, and vascular experiences – Required • BLS (AHA) – Required • COVID Card or Exemptions allowed • Driver’s License – Required
