RN – Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC)
Shift: 12-hour Days, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Contract: 13 weeks
Care Setting: Post-Acute / SNF / LTC

Join a skilled nursing and long-term care team serving a mix of long-term residents and short-term rehab patients working to regain strength and return home.

Unit Details

• 60 residents total, approximately 30 residents per unit
• Private rooms
• RN/LPN ratio: 1:15
• CNA ratio: 1:10
• Mix of skilled rehab and long-term care residents
• Physicians available by phone 24/7
• Interdisciplinary support includes PT, OT, Speech Therapy, Social Services, Case Management, Dietitians, Pharmacy, Business Office, and Medical Records

RN Responsibilities

• IV therapy
• PICC line management
• Mediport and central line care
• IV antibiotics
• Blood administration
• IV fluids
• Medication administration
• Wound care
• Foley/catheter care
• PEG tube feedings
• Ostomy care
• Tracheostomy care
• Ongoing resident assessment and care coordination

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS/CPR required prior to first day
• License in hand not required to submit
• SNF/LTC or post-acute experience preferred

Scheduling

• 12-hour day shifts: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No self-scheduling
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• No call or standby
• Travelers float as needed and may float before core staff
