Travel Radiology / CT / MRI Technologist

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: 8-hour variable / primarily 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch

Role

Multi-modality position rotating between:

• MRI
• CT
• General Radiology / X-ray
• Fluoroscopy / C-arm as needed

Example rotation:

• Monday – MRI
• Tuesday – CT
• Thursday – General Radiology
• Friday – CT

Equipment

CT

• Siemens 64-slice Perspective
• Bracco power injector
• CT fluoroscopy

MRI

• Siemens 1.5T Altea
• Bracco power injector
• General abdomen, neuro, and MSK
• No breast or cardiac MRI
• Typical outpatient volume: 10–12 patients/day, with possible ER/Urgent Care or inpatient add-ons

X-ray / Fluoroscopy

• Carestream portable X-ray
• GE/OEC C-arms
• GE XR646 X-ray room
• GE Discovery RF180 Fluoroscopy/X-ray system

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred/required for travelers.
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on modality and depth of experience.
• Candidate must be capable of working independently in the assigned modalities.
• Minimum radiography certification, with the ability to independently perform CT or MRI after reviewing facility protocols/workflow.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ARRT(R) required for Rad Tech/CT
• ARRT(MR) for MRI Tech
• Traveler must have both Radiology and CT competencies on file for the dual CT/Radiology role.
• Must graduate from an approved Radiology Program that permits eligibility for ARRT(R) and CT certification.
