REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

? License Requirements: ARRT(R) with NJ license or RCIS accepted;
-NJ License: Not required at time of submission; typically takes less than 3 weeks to obtain but must be in place prior to start.

? Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R) or RCIS


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & CLINICAL SKILLS

? Experience Required: 2 years, May consider 1 year based on experience

? Scrub/Circulate: Room circulator; Scrub and maintain sterile field

? Work Settings: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab; Interventional Radiology

? Responsibilities: Equipment set up; Perform EKG lead placement; Prep access site; Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias; Stock supplies; Sterile technique

? Vascular: Angioplasty; Endovascular Interventions

? Cath Lab: ASD Closures; Cardiac Implant Closure Device; Stent Placement; Hemodynamic monitoring; IABP Placement/Removal; Interpretation of dysrhythmias; Left heart catheterization; PCI; Permanent/Temporary Pacemaker Insertion; PA line insertion; Right heart catheterization


SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

? Charting: Epic required

? Weekend Requirement: On Call

? On Call Requirement: Yes, 14-15/month; Every other week Sun-Sat

? RTO, Block & Scheduling Requests: Priority given to submits with a screenshot confirming RTO and schedule requests. No requests will be approved after offer.

? Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

? Holiday Requirement: On call only; 1 winter or 1 summer holiday required, as needed

? Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

? Locals Accepted: Yes, Locals accepted at the same rate.
