Nurse Manager – Telemetry

 

 

Required Certifications

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • 8 hours of stroke education (NIHSS is not required)
  • BronxCare Hospital Center De-escalation Training

Key Requirements

Hospital-based Unit Manager experience is mandatory.

The Nurse Manager will oversee the 8th Floor Med/Tele Unit as well as the ED Hold / Float Pool.

Candidates must have:

  • Previous Unit Manager experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong Telemetry and Stroke experience
  • Ability to read and interpret telemetry
  • At least 8 hours of stroke education
  • Experience managing acute-care patients with mixed acuity
