Nurse Manager – Telemetry
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- 8 hours of stroke education (NIHSS is not required)
- BronxCare Hospital Center De-escalation Training
Key Requirements
Hospital-based Unit Manager experience is mandatory.
The Nurse Manager will oversee the 8th Floor Med/Tele Unit as well as the ED Hold / Float Pool.
Candidates must have:
- Previous Unit Manager experience in a hospital setting
- Strong Telemetry and Stroke experience
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry
- At least 8 hours of stroke education
- Experience managing acute-care patients with mixed acuity
