POSITION: Registered Nurse, PCU


SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING
===============================
? Shift hours/Contract Length: 7p-7a, 13 weeks

? Charting: EPIC experience required

? Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

? RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests: Must submit requests upon submission

? Call off Policy: The client may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours.

? Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed

? Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

? Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: RN's within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted. Locals accepted for LPN's


REQUIRED LICENSE/ CERTIFICATIONS
================================
? Pending License Accepted: No, Must have an active New York Single State RN license. (NY is not Compact)

? ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Please include valid NIHSS in submittal.


REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
========================
? Telemetry and Stepdown-level care (PCU/DOU/IMC)

? Cardiac monitoring and emergency response; Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; Use of Rapid Response/Code teams

? Nasal cannula; Oxygen administration; Non-invasive airway management

? Manage cardiac drips (no titration); Blood product administration

? Central line care/management; Peripheral line care/management

? IV therapy/phlebotomy; Isolation precautions


UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING

? Ratios: 1:4-5; Adults, Geriatrics

? Patient Diagnoses: long term pulmonary patients, ENT surgery, any surgical procedures that need step down level of care.

? Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white

? Floating: Will be required to float within skillset
