Description

Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse – Day Shift

  • Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 19:30 | 36 Hours Per Week
    • Scheduling Details: No block schedules. Maximum 1 pre-approved time off request allowed.
    • Weekend & Holiday Protocol: Every other weekend (1:6 ratio on weekends); holiday rotations based on operational need.
    • Floating Protocol [HARDSTOP]: Required to float to other inpatient units on campus or downtown facilities as operationally needed [HARDSTOP].
  • Health Compliance Mandates: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted). COVID-19 vaccine not required.

Submission Hardstops [STRI.CT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of inpatient Med/Surg & Telemetry RN experience within the last 3 years [HARDSTOP].
    • Travel Experience Exemption: Prior travel experience is not required if the candidate possesses 3 years of continuous inpatient Med/Surg experience.
  • Telemetry Competency Exam [HARDSTOP]: Must pass a unit telemetry assessment prior to being cleared to start assignment [HARDSTOP].
  • EMR Proficiency [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR is required [HARDSTOP].
  • Licensure Requirements [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active Wisconsin State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active AHA-only BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strictly required [HARDSTOP].
