Description

Position: Interventional Radiology Tech (IR Tech)
Start Date: Oct 5, 2026 (or ASAP)
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Schedule: 5x8 Days, Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
On-Call: 8-10 shifts per month, including nights/weekends
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend on-call for urgent/emergent cases

Requirements:

ARRT(R)
Maryland Radiology License
BLS
ACLS
Strong IR scrub and circulating experience required
Cath Lab scrub experience highly preferred
First-time travelers welcome with strong IR/Cath Lab experience
RCIS candidates may be considered

Unit Highlights:

Fast-paced, high-volume IR suite
Adult and geriatric patient population
Monday-Friday scheduled procedures with after-hours emergency coverage

Common Procedures:

Paracentesis/ascites drainage
Thoracentesis/pleural effusions
Dialysis access interventions (AVF/AVG)
PICC lines and Port placements/removals
Biopsies
Angioplasty and stent procedures

Equipment Experience Preferred:

Philips Azurion C-Arm
Angioplasty balloons
Stents
Tunneling HD catheters
PICCs and Port-a-Caths
