Description

Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 101

· Patient Ratios : 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds

· Unit staffing description- Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights

· Type of equipment : baxter pumps, GE monitors

· Documentation system: Cerner

· Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.

· Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.

· Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI & NIH

1 year of recent ED experience required. Must be available every other weekend. Must have an active state or compact RN license. Per diem positions are available as well. Please reach out if interested!
