Travel RN – Cardiac Telemetry

Facility: EinsteinII
Position: Travel RN
Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry
Shift: Nights
Schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13 Weeks
Unit: 28-Bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4–6

Job Description

Provide direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare disciplines.
Carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning.
Work independently while demonstrating strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
Follow standard precautions and required PPE protocols.

Unit Details

28-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit
Cares for a variety of cardiac patients and cardiac-related needs.
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4–6
Supported by PCTs and Healthcare Unit Coordinators.
Monitor Techs available for telemetry monitoring.
Virtual sitter monitoring available.
