  • Start: 9/28/2026
  • Schedule: 3x12s, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
  • Specialty: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)
  • Location: University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia, MO
  • Experience: 1.5 years required
  • Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted
  • Certifications: BLS + NBSTSA
  • License: MO or Compact in hand
  • Charting: Any required; Cerner preferred
  • Float: Required
  • Call: Required — fair share of call
  • Weekends: Must be available for assigned weekends
  • Holidays: Must work at least 50% of holidays during the contract
  • RTO: Maximum 10 days; none during the first week/orientation
  • Local Rule: No travelers living within 50 miles; 51–74 miles may be offered local rate
  • Vaccines: COVID and flu required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
  • OR Experience: Broad surgical experience required, including General, Vascular, ENT, GYN, Neuro, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Robotics, Thoracic, and Urology
  • Key Skills: Aseptic technique, specimen handling, sterilization/disinfection, laser/radiation/sharps safety, universal protocol
