Description
CT/X-Ray Technologist – Travel Contract
Facility: Leander FSED / St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center
Specialty: CT/X-Ray Technologist
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP
Requirements
- ARRT (R)(CT) required
- TMB license required
- BLS required
- CT registry required
- Trauma/ED experience preferred
- Must be able to perform both CT & X-Ray
- Comfortable working independently
Unit Details
- 10-bed FSED
- 1 Imaging Tech + 2 Nurses + 1 Lab staff
- Equipment: GE 64-slice CT, Konica Digital X-Ray & Portable X-Ray
- EMR: Meditech
- PACS: Synapse
- Patient population: ED patients only — no outpatient exams
- Wide variety of emergency imaging procedures
Schedule
- Rotating weekend nights
- Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
- Call: Optional
- Scrubs: Sage Green top + Black bottoms or all black for contract staff
Ideal Candidate: Experienced CT/X-Ray Tech with ARRT (R)(CT), TMB & BLS, strong ED/trauma skills, and the ability to independently handle a wide range of CT and X-Ray exams.
