RN – Emergency Department | Travel Contract

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Shift Type: Night Shift
Contract: Travel Assignment

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN – Emergency Department (ED) for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate should have strong emergency nursing experience, critical-care skills, and the ability to care for diverse patient populations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience
• At least 2 prior travel contracts
• Experience caring for critical-care patients
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
• Experience caring for psychiatric and pediatric patients
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to appropriately escalate concerns and seek support when needed
• Epic experience required

Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) or based on department needs
• Every other holiday (EOH) rotating with regular staff

Floating

The traveler may be required to:

• Float onsite to areas within their skill set
• Float to other sites within approximately 40 miles, if needed

Ideal Candidate

This position is a strong fit for an experienced ED RN who is comfortable working with high-acuity, psychiatric, and pediatric patients, has prior travel nursing experience, and can adapt to floating requirements.
