Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract

Facility: HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge
Location: Thornton, CO
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
Contract: 6 weeks
Schedule: 4×9-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Call: 2 nights of call + every 3rd weekend
 

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of recent acute-care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
• BLS required
• ARRT (R) OR RCIS/RCES required
• Candidates with RCIS/RCES must be willing to apply for/register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado through DORA before starting
• Must be able to take on-call responsibilities
• Must live within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab while on call

Preferred Experience

• ARRT (CI) or CV
• Cath Lab holding experience
• Patient monitoring experience

• GE Innova Fluoroscopy Systems
• Mac-Lab
• Meditech EMR

Procedures

• Left & Right Heart Catheterization (LHC/RHC)
• PCI
• Peripheral diagnostic & interventional procedures
• Pacemaker & ICD procedures
• Cardioversions
• TEE
• Tilt Table Tests
• Dobutamine Stress Tests

Unit Details

• 3 Cath Lab suites
• 2 Cath Lab procedure rooms
• 3 holding bays
• Approximately 9 staff members
• Typical procedural-area ratio: 3 staff : 1 patient
• High-functioning team with engaged physicians

Call & Weekend Requirements

• 2 nights of call
• Every 3rd weekend
• Call is distributed evenly among the team
• Must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
