Position Overview
Seeking experienced High-Level PCU or ICU Registered Nurses to support a newly opened Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Nurses will manage a broad acuity spectrum including Med-Surg/Telemetry, PCU, and Critical Care patients, with floating to these areas based on census needs.
Key Details
- Patient Ratios: Critical Care 1:2 | Med-Surg/Telemetry 1:6
- Start Date: Must start no later than October 20th (October 6th preferred)
- Floating: Required to float across MS/Tele, PCU, and Critical Care units during low census
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: High-level PCU or ICU clinical background capable of handling high-acuity critical care patients
- Clinical Skills: Competency caring for Med-Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care, and Intensive Care patient populations
- Certifications: Must hold or be willing to obtain TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or TCAR (Trauma Care After Resuscitation) within 30 days of start date
