🚫 Absolute Minimum Qualifications & Departmental Hardstops:
- Licensure Mandate: Active, unencumbered Washington State (WA) RN License held in hand at submission OR an active eNLC Compact License.
- Compact License Audit Requirements: 1) Verification of completed suicide prevention training; 2) Demographic data verified via Nursys e-Notify.
- Experience Baseline: Minimum 3+ years of hospital-based Critical Care / ICU RN experience.
- Core Certifications Required:
- Active AHA BLS (American Heart Association).
- Active AHA ACLS (American Heart Association).
- Work Authorization: Proof of right to work in the United States required.

Job Summary & Clinical Scope
A Hospital in Aberdeen, WA is seeking an experienced, high-acuity Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN CCU/ICU) for a 13-week night assignment. Operating within a Level III Trauma Center serving the Olympic Peninsula, the CCU RN will deliver direct care to hemodynamically unstable adult medical-surgical, trauma, and cardiac patients requiring advanced mechanical and pharmacological life support.
- Hemodynamic & Invasive Line Management: Monitor, interpret, and titrate central venous pressures (CVP), arterial line pressures, cardiac rhythms, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring displays; execute phlebotomy and complex IV protocols.
- Vasoactive & Life Support Management: Safely titrate high-alert vasoactive infusions, manage mechanical ventilators, respirators, advanced oxygen delivery systems, continuous monitoring leads, and invasive catheters.
- Critical Triage & Emergency Response: Rapidly identify clinical deterioration, initiate emergency life-saving interventions per ACLS protocols, and collaborate with critical care physicians and emergency teams.
- EHR Documentation & Patient Education: Record all patient care details, diagnostic testing orders/results, and clinical progress notes concisely in Meditech; deliver discharge and critical illness education to families.
