Overview

• Location: Jacksonville, Florida
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 15 weeks
• Shift: 18:45 - 07:15
• Schedule: 36 - 48 hour contracts acceptable; every other weekend required; holidays per unit need

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance

• Ascension Color Vision completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
• Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start, updated every 3 years, with a minimum passing score of 80%
• Ascension EKG Exam completed with a passing score of at least 80%; updated every 3 years
• Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
• Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding
• Ascension Nova StatStrip completed before clearance and annually
• Ascension Cerner Test-Out
• Badge photo
• COVID-19 vaccine documentation required; no declinations accepted
• MMR documentation required; no declinations accepted
• Fit test required for all travelers; updated annually
• Hepatitis B documentation or declination
• Influenza vaccine documentation; declinations accepted with masking required
• Health statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Driver's license or state ID must be current and match address on file
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA required
• Varicella documentation required; no declinations accepted
• Tdap valid for 10 years from administered date; no declinations or attestations accepted
• Criminal background check results

• Education verification within 90 days of start
• Employment verification for the past seven years
• 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start
• Confirmation of assignment upon initial assignment and each extension
