CT Technologist (Travel Contract)
Duration: 16 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Employment Type: Travel Contract Only
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a fast-paced imaging department. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in performing a full range of CT procedures and comfortable working independently in a busy emergency and inpatient environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform all CT imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols.
- Provide high-quality patient care while ensuring safety and comfort.
- Assist with high-volume Emergency Department and inpatient imaging needs.
- Operate CT equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience within the specialty.
- Current ARRT (CT) Certification required.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred/required.
- Strong ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Holiday Requirements
Candidates must be available to work:
- 2 Major Holidays out of:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
AND
- 1 Minor Holiday out of:
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve
Additional Information
- Travel candidates only.
- Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
- Compliance requirements must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the scheduled start date.
