Common patient conditions include <strong>chest pain, CVA (stroke), and abdominal pain</strong>.</p><h3>Assignment Details</h3><ul><li><strong>Unit:</strong> 3 East Med Surg</li><li><strong>Unit Size:</strong> 21 beds</li><li><strong>Patient Population:</strong> Post-operative and non-infectious patients</li><li><strong>Common Diagnoses:</strong> Chest pain, CVA, abdominal pain</li><li><strong>Weekend Requirement:</strong> Every other weekend</li><li><strong>Block Schedule:</strong> May be available upon request</li></ul><h3>Required Certifications</h3><ul><li><strong>BLS</strong></li><li><strong>ACLS</strong></li></ul><h3>Key Requirements</h3><ul><li>Med Surg nursing experience</li><li>Ability to care for post-operative and medically complex patients</li><li>Must be available to work <strong>every other weekend</strong></li><li>Strong assessment, communication, and patient-care skills</li></ul>
